A corner restaurant at Knjeginje Ljubice and Gospodar Jevremova: two restaurants in one space — brunch by day, Italian cooking, wine and cocktails by night.
The story of this place began in 2024, in the heart of Dorćol on Gospodar Jovanova Street, from a simple and clear idea: the philosophy of a meal as a moment of meeting and enjoyment — what we now call brunch. Two years later the idea grew into a new location, on the corner of Knjeginje Ljubice and Gospodar Jevremova, where it became the concept of a corner restaurant: a space with a pronounced urban presence.
The architecture of the corner is the centre of the concept: the building's form is not a given to which the interior adapts, but an active participant in shaping the atmosphere. The openness of the corner, its visibility and its passing traffic are the project's core motif — the intention being that the city's movement should not stop at the façade, but slip quietly into the restaurant.
During the first shift the space works as a recognisable brunch place: more open, lighter, resting on a familiar menu and the pulse of the city by day. In the second shift the same space changes rhythm: the menu turns to Italian cooking, the ambience grows warmer and more intimate, and the evening's energy is rounded off with wine and cocktails.
The interior is designed to bring calm, and at the centre of the experience is the white tablecloth, a symbol of measure and dignity. The dark carpet and discreetly shaped details deliberately ask no attention for themselves; their role is to quieten the space so that the focus stays on what matters: the food, the gesture of service and the togetherness that forms around them.
The spatial experience begins with a slight step down from street level. A few steps lead the visitor into the main dining room; at the back the bar rises in contrast, with a central community table. The movement towards the bar is marked by passing under an arch — not merely a structural or decorative motif, but the threshold between two atmospheres.
